A late night makes an early morning...but totally worth it.
Last night, my darling, as you slept,
I thought I heard you sigh,
And to your little crib I crept,
And watched the space thereby;
Then bending down, I kissed your brow
-For, oh! I love you so-
You are too young to know it now,
But some time you shall know.

As I recap and update my readings from the blog daily, my heart overflows with tears of joy for you all and at the same time my heart breaks for Katie. I know it was hard for her to make the decision, but I also know that with God in the picture, everything works out according to his plan. I think that the faith and strength in God that you and Adam have displayed throughout this process helped Katie as well to realize that if we trust in him daily, he will comfort us and give us the strength and guidance we need each and every day. Every day when I go home (after I've printed the latest updates), I read them to Larry and we both end up with tears in our eyes and lumps in our throats. Sydney is definitely a gift from God and I'm so proud that you both have been blessed with her. Your entry was so correct when you said that the mountains were a perfect example of how God plans every little detail of our lives for us. We love you all, and can't wait to see you and Sydney. Everyone is so happy for you. Take care and thank you for allowing us to be a part of this joyous occasion. Keep up the good work on the blog (when you have a spare moment of course)...(changing diapers, feeding time, blog entry, changing diapers....). ha,ha. Love to all,

I meant to write this last night...Rex was born in Ogden, Utah, right outside of Salt Lake. His grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all live in the Salt Lake area. If you meet any Cottles, they're probably related. I know you might not want to get Sydney out, but I hope y'all can enjoy that area while you are there. It is so beautiful. It is hard to believe anyone can live there and not believe in God. I hope y'all get some sleep. Isn't it neat when God lets us go through something in order to reveal to us more and more about Him?

Little Lamb, who made thee
Does thou know who made thee
Gave thee life & bid thee feed.
By the stream & o'er the mead;
Gave thee clothing of delight,
Softest clothing woolly bright;
Gave thee such a tender voice.
Making all the vales rejoice:
Little Lamb who made thee
Does thou know who made thee
Little Lamb I'll tell thee,
Little Lamb I'll tell thee;
He is called by thy name,
For he calls himself a Lamb:
He is meek & he is mild,
He became a little child
I a child & thou a lamb,
We are called by His name,
Little Lamb God bless thee,
Little Lamb God bless thee.
The Lamb

You can't help but think how many poems/prayers I would like to put on here, (being and English major and all) but I decided on one of the simplest, most well-known, and one of my favorites. I love you!~aunt calen
